Because the regular brass valves quickly eroded in heavy drainage situations, the call for a wear-resistant non-return valve increased. The BBA Pumps in house engineering team took it upon them to design a non-return valve that is wear resistant and portable as well. This resulted in the patented BBA “Handy” non-return valve©.
The BBA “Handy” non-return valve is made of a hot dipped galvanized robust steel casing and low maintenance rubber disk valves. The complete assembly is light weight, portable and has a sturdy base plate.
