Our mobile high head pumping systems – with pressures of up to 20 bar (290 psi) – are vacuum assisted and available with diesel engine or electric motor. These centrifugal pumps are widely used in high pressure applications.
 

Construction and dredging high head pumps 

Over the years, we have supplied many diesel driven jet water pumps that are used for underwater excavation of wet construction pits. This dredging technology is used in tunnel construction or in the building of underground parking garages.

Mine and quarry dewatering high head pumps

To cater to the mining market segment where there is no need for a complete skid and/or canopy, BBA Pumps has developed a bolt-on pump package. These units feature the BA pump of your choice coupled to a diesel engine, with a priming system included.

Emergency and fire fighting high head pumps

Mobile high head pumps are indispensable for disaster relief, both onshore and offshore. A major project in the history of BBA Pumps concerned the supply of nine firefighting pumps supplied to a European nuclear power plant. These mobile pumps were completely customized and delivered with no less than 132 certificates per pump set.
